Limerick senior football Barry Coleman & Limerick senior hurler Cian Lynch were representing their county teams at the Killarney venue

The Munster GAA Senior Football Championship starts on Saturday April 5th with two Quarter-Finals – Tipperary v Waterford FBD Semple Stadium Thurles and Limerick v Cork in the TUS Gaelic Grounds. The Munster Senior Football Final is fixed for Sunday May 4th.

The Munster GAA Senior Hurling Championship starts on Sunday April 20th with the opening round robin fixtures seeing Clare take on Cork in Cusack Park Ennis and Tipperary hosting Limerick in FBD Semple Stadium Thurles. The Munster Senior Hurling Final is fixed for Saturday June 7th.
