SUCCESS STORIES FOR LIMERICK GAA
Over the past number of days, Limerick GAA have enjoyed some very good news stories, Shane Dowling (Na Piarsaigh) has been awarded the GAA’s score of the month for February. Shane scored the goal upon his return from injury in his side’s All Ireland semi-final win over Slaughtneil.
Limerick Camogie Player Niamh Mulcahy, – was awarded the WGPA February Player of the Month of February following on some fine displays in the Littlewoods Camogie League.
LIMERICK’S Top Sporting moment has been confirmed. Ciaran Carey’s wonder point in the 1996 Munster senior hurling semi final against Clare has been chosen by the readers of the Limerick Leader, in an amazingly tight poll.
Limerick GAA Youth Magazine won the Cumann na mBunscoil, National Award 2018 for the Publication GREEN&WHITE
These coupled with on the field achievements, Na Piarsaigh reaching the AlB GAA Senior Club Hurling Championship Final, UL winning the Fitzgibbon Cup,Ard Scoil Ris winning the Dr. Harty Cup, just to mention a few, other Colleges and Clubs have also lifted Provincial titles over the past number of weeks, all which augers well for Limerick
