ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Junior A Hurling Championship:
St Patrick’s 0 28 Garryspillane 0 11
Our Junior A hurling team had another good win on Sunday morning in Caherelly, when making light of the difficult underfoot conditions.
It now sets up a winner takes all clash against Kilteely/Dromkeen this Sunday at 1pm in Cappamore.
A win will guarantee a spot in the County Quarter Final. Support for the Saints on Sunday will be very much appreciated.

A fantastic day lies ahead.
U13 Hurling Blitz:
A busy day for some of our Under 13 group ended with a hugely enjoyable hurling blitz in Rhebogue on Saturday afternoon. Welcoming Firies and Tralee Parnells from Kerry and Limerick side Kilacolla Gaels for a four team tournament, there was huge excitement and no little hurling skill throughout the shield and cup competitions.
A day to remember for the St Patrick’s boys and our visiting teams. The weather was kind and the hurling was a joy to watch.
Credit to those who put in the hard work to organise a fantastic blitz.
Dad’s and Lads:
St Patrick’s “Dad’s and Lad’s” team had their first training session last night and a very enjoyable one it was.
There has been a big interest in this initiative and they will be meeting up again next Friday at 6.45pm for more craic and maybe a bit of football.
All new, old and not so old players are very welcome.
