ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES
Limerick U17 & 20 Teams:
A huge well done to Diarmuid Hegarty and Shane Cross who both were involved with Limerick teams in the past week. Diarmuids U20 Hurling team qualified for the Munster Final with a big win over Clare and Shane’s U17 football team beat Tipperary in the Gaelic Grounds on Wednesday evening.
Three St Patrick’s players represented their County this week- Gearoid with the three in a row Munster winning Senior hurlers, Diarmuid Hegarty and Shane Cross. A top honour for the club and a testament to the continuing work at underage and the pathway for players to develop and prosper for club and county.
U11 Hurling & Football:
Our U11 football team were back in action on Tuesday night with another super performance against Monaleen in Peafield on a splendid evening for sport. Well done all. Our U11 Hurling team were delighted to see the arrival of the ice cream van to training on Friday night, a great help in cooling down after another very enjoyable Friday night session- well done boys keep practicing over the break.
