ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Munster Final Three In A Row:
Limerick are Munster Champions once again, well done to our own Gearoid Hegarty. It is the first time in 85 years Limerick have won three in a row Munster Championships, a super achievement
We are hugely proud of Gearoid- you cannot take these days for granted as they don’t come easy.
A brilliant occasion and proud day for St Patrick’s and Limerick people, one and all to savour!
Limerick U20 Hurling Team:
Best wishes to Diarmuid Hegarty, who starts at No 10 Half Forward for the Limerick U20 Hurling team who play Clare on Monday in the Gaelic Grounds.
Fantastic for Diarmuid to be back in the green of Limerick and the club are very proud of a great young man and role model.
Best of luck to Diarmuid and the Limerick team & management.
Limerick U17 Football:
Best wishes are also extended to Shane Cross, who has been named on the Limerick U17 football panel for Wednesdays Munster Championship match against Tipperary.
Shane has been on Limerick football and hurling panels from a young age and is a credit to the club.
The club has three players representing their county this week, it is testament to the hard work at underage and the structures that are in place for a pathway to develop and prosper for both club and county teams.
U13 Football:
Well done to our U13 footballers who had another fine win on Thursday night in Monaleen. Great credit to these boys and brilliant to see them enjoying themselves in the summer sun.

Friday Night Hurling:
A super night at Rhebogue in the sunshine with Munster Final excitement in the air and with all of our U7s and U9s treated to party bags and 99s, with the surprise arrival of the Shannon Ices Van, it was a special night for our young stars.
They will all be supporting our clubman Gearoid Hegarty and the boys in green this Sunday in Pairc Chaoimh and will sleep happy tonight after a super night of fun.
U11 Hurling:
Well done also to our U11 Hurling team who played South Liberties in glorious sunshine on Tuesday at Rhebogue.
