ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES
Intermediate Football: Our Intermediate football team will begin their county league campaign this coming Saturday, 29 February, at 3pm when St Senans from Foynes are the visitors to Rhebogue. Best of luck to the players and management for the year ahead. U21 Hurling Championship: Once again all fixtures were postponed due to the ongoing adverse weather. The St Patricks V Claughaun game has been re-fixed for Sunday March 1 at 12 in Rhebogue. Limerick Senior Hurling: Allianz Hurling League Limerick 0-29, Cork 2-21 (FT) Three wins from three for Limerick and the first Limerick win in Pairc Ui Chaoimh since 2001.Well done to St Patricks Gearoid Hegarty who once again was immense. Underage: The underage hurling continues in Delta on Friday nights and teams are returning to the field as the new season is approaching. Some of our U13 footballers and hurlers have been participating in the Friday night lights initiative in Ul and have been training with the City development sides. Well done to all. Club Membership: Club Membership is now open for 2020. It is vitally important that all playing members, adult and underage, register for the year ahead. Please contact your club coach or any club member for further details. Limerick Gaa tickets or other events will be on a members only basis. Club Limerick Draw: The Club Limerick Draw is a vital fundraiser for St Patricks, with half of all monies raised going directly to the club. With top prizes each month the club has has had many winners. Contact any committee member for further details.
