ST. PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES
Patch and Putt Classic:
Many thanks to all who supported a hugely successful Pitch and Putt classic on Saturday in Parteen. St Patrick’s would like to thank all those who kindly supported the event by sponsoring tee boxes. We received incredible support. Well done to all the teams who also made the event a great success.
U 12 Football
Huge well done to our U12 Football team who won their league final in a very exciting game in UL on Friday night. St Patrick’s edged out Bruff 2 3 to 2 2 in a great battle in the North Campus. Down by six points at half time against a strong breeze the boys performed brilliantly in the second half to take the lead in the closing stages. Well done to all.
U10 Hurling:
St Patrick’s U10 Hurling team played neighbours Claughaun also on Friday and performed very strongly in all games. We continue to see growing numbers and the boys are really enjoying their hurling.
They are off to the Kingdom of Kerry next week for a trip they are eagerly anticipating. Well done boys.
Minor Hurling:
Southside Gaels exited the City/ East minor championship on Tuesday night when losing to Caherline in Dooley Park.
Junior Football:
St Patrick’s will play Mungret in the City final on Saturday October 5 in Rathbane with a 5pm throw in.
