ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Intermediate Hurling Championship Round 3:
St Patrick’s 0 07 Effin 0 18
A disappointing evening in Clarina on Friday night for our hurlers.
Missing a number of regulars this game was always going to be tough, alot of credit goes to those who played on the night. Hospital will be the opposition this coming Saturday in round four. Qualification is very much in our own hands and a win in Cappamore on Saturday evening(7pm) will put St Patrick’s firmly back in the mix for a knockout spot.

City/East MHC Result:

A big win for the minor hurling team on Tuesday evening and they are now in a very strong position in the group. South Liberties will be the opposition in round five.

U12 Hurling:
Chris Mortells U12 Hurling team will be Thurles bound this Tuesday for the Munster underage blitz in Semple Stadium. The panel will play three matches and this will be followed by a stadium tour and a talk by a current intercounty star. A hugely exciting and beneficial day lies ahead.

U16 Football:
St Patrick’s U16 Football team completed their Championship campaign on Monday night against Granagh/Ballingarry.
With a young panel they had six games over the summer with mixed results.
They can now look forward to a County Shield final in the coming weeks against Mountcollins in Mick Neville Park.

Premier Minor Football:
Our Minor football team will be in action on the double this week in what are two crucial championship games. First up are Ballylanders in Rhebogue on Monday night (7.30), followed by Monaleen away on Friday(7pm).

The 2019 Kellogs Cul Camp will be held in St Patrick’s starting this Monday August 12 at 10am. The Camp is for boys and girls aged 6yrs to 13 yrs. The best & easiest way to register is on the Kellogs CĂșl Camp site. Hope to see ye all there for another fun and enjoyable week.
