ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Munster Final:
The club would like to wish Gearoid Hegarty, Diarmuid Hegarty and Sean Mortell the very best in the Munster minor and Senior hurling finals next Sunday at the Gaelic Grounds and also to John Daly with the minor team. It will be a very proud day for St Patrick’s people to have players from the club involved in both games. It is indeed a huge privilege to have players in both finals and a great honour for all three and their families. They are all top role models for our younger members and superb representatives of St Patrick’s Gaa. Here’s hoping come next Sunday at four o clock they will be celebrating a double success. Best of luck boys, we wish you the very best next Sunday.

Tickets Update: due to the exceptional high demand for tickets and considering the current allocation of tickets to the club, please note that to ensure a fair distribution to all, not everyone will get their full requests granted. If a second allocation becomes available, we will endeavour to accomodate.

U14 Hurling:
We played near neighbours Claughaun on Wednesday in Childers Rd. With both teams very familiar with each other, after spending a couple of years combined as Southside Gaels until late this year, it was always going to an interesting match.
A very slow start from Saints was to be our undoing on the night, with a couple of soft early scores conceded made for a uphill battle.
Credit to this young St Patrick’s team who showed great character and a very even game followed from here. No doubt the lads will learn from the poor start and can be very proud of their continuing progress throughout the year.Well done to both teams on a fine game of hurling.

U12 Football:
Well done to St Patrick’s U12 Football team who put in a fine performance against Crecora in Rhebogue.A big panel were present and all played their part.

Cul Camp:
St Patrick’s Gaa Kellogg’s Cúl Camp will be run this year from August 12th to August 16th and is opened online to book now.
