ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES
U21B Football County Quarter Final:
St Patrick’s 3 11 Banogue 1 06
Our U21 football team progress to the Semi Final after a hard fought win over Banogue on Sunday morning.
This game was alot closer than the scoreline suggests and it was only in the last quarter that St Patrick’s were to put the game out of sight.
This was another good test for this young team, their fourth in total, and they will no doubt be tested even further when meeting Galtee Gaels in the County Semi Final, this Saturday at 2pm in Cappamore. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Street League:
The 2021 Football Street League was held in Rhebogue on Saturday and it was another memorable day for all involved.
Four teams played out a feast of football that was a joy to watch and warm the hearts in cold December conditions.
The cup and Shield finals were again very keenly and closely fought matches, with Limerick pipping Armagh in the Brendan Crosse Cup final and Tyrone beating Kerry by a point in the shield final, there was scenes of joy and heartbreak in equal measure at the full time whistle.
Many thanks to the members of the Limerck Senior Football team who very kindly gave their time to the boys and girls today with great advice and presented each team with their medals and selection boxes.
Our u17 team were presented with their County Shield medals to cap off a special day
Many thanks to the coaches, volunteers and all those who helped throughout the day. Another super day in Rhebogue, well done all.
Cobi Gear:
The Cobi Club gear should be ready for distribution from club officers on the 17th/ 18th December.
