John Hayes is a member of the Limerick panel at present, lining out at full forward in their McGrath Cup opening round game against Kerry. Following relegation from division 2 in 2023 Limerick will be hoping to get their 2024 campaign off to a winning start on Sunday afternoon and secure the all-important two points.

Ireland Lights Up Walk:
The Ireland Lights Up Walk in partnership with Operation Transformation commences this evening.
Those who wish to participate are asked to meet at Ardagh church carpark to sign in. The walk will begin at 7pm sharp! We will once again follow the same route as last year. Walking along the from the Church to Dowlings and back is 6.4km but feel free to do what you want and turn when you want.
All are welcome, bring the children, bring the dog, come on your own – there is always someone to walk with and chat to.
See you all this evening and we would ask all participants to please bring a light and wear a hi-visibility jacket.
We are delighted to announce that in 2024 we will be participating in the ‘EVERY STEP COUNTS CHALLENGE’. Clubs are asked to track a combined 4000km over 5 weeks starting on 8th Jan and finishing on 12th February. All clubs who achieve the 4000km target will be entered in a draw for €2500!! The challenge is for EVERYBODY not just for club members.
You just need to download the MyLife app in the App store of Google play (search MyLife by Irish Life). After registering on the MyLife app go to Social > Select Challenges > Select Pending > Select MUNSTER GAA – Every Step Counts 2024 > Select Join and then find St Kierans.
Our Operation Transformation walk will start on Wednesday January 10th. What better way to kick start the year than with a challenge to boost our health & well being and also support St Kierans…so let’s get ready for EVERY STEP COUNTS 2024!!!
(Note: Anybody can take part in “Every Step Counts”, it does not need to be done in conjunction with the Operation Transformation walk, and vice versa.)
