Underage Academy
Our Winter 2022 academy began last friday evening. It was a great event as we had the Liam Mc Carthy Cup visit us so there was great excitement and huge numbers. There are numerous photos up on social media. Our Street Leagues begin next Friday 18th November so keep an eye on your whats app messages to know the times.
Christmas Raffle for a Signed Framed Jersey.
The Club launched a raffle last Friday night at our Winter Underage Academy. We have a signed jersey of our 5 All Ireland Senior Hurling Medal Winners in Pat Hartigan, Joe Mc Kenna, Eamon Grimes, Barry Nash and Brian Ryan. Tickets are €10 each and can be purchased online on our social media pages on bit.ly/Libsjersey. Tickets can also be purchased with cash at the clubhouse, next to our shop, every Friday night from now until December 16th. All proceeds will go towards a future Ball Wall for the club so all donations greatly appreciated.
Nead na nÓg Preschool
Sinead Shanahan, owner of the preschool within our Club grounds, received a cheque from Invers Elm Court Service Station recently, for the Invers Leading Lights Initiative. Their nomination of €1000 will go towards a small play area. Sinead was seen receiving her cheque, along with Marguerite Cunneen in the school and photo can be viewed on social media.
East Limerick U13 School of excellence and academy.
Well done to our 4 boys who have made it onto the next stage of the U13 East Limerick division School of Excellence Academy. Danny and David Fitzpatrick go on for both hurling and football while Dano Sheahan and Ruairí Bullman go forth for football. We wish these lads best wishes now in their training for the next few months.
