South Liberties GAA Club Notes:Spring Academy 2025:
Our first academy for 2025 begins this coming Friday February 14th in Dooley Park. New players welcome at all ages and we encourage all to come along and join in. Our U6/U8 group are from 6.10pm to 6.50pm, U10’s from 7pm to 7.45pm, U12’S from 7.45pm to 8.30pmand our U14’S from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Our newly erected Snack Shack will be open for hot and cold beverages and refreshments so be sure to call in. If any parent at available to volunteer in any capacity, please make yourself known to any mentor. We are always looking for volunteers in all age groups. Keep and eye on our social media pages for updates.
Local Lotto:
Our Parish Lotto continues each week with the jackpot now heading for €8000. Tickets can be purchased in our 2 local public premises and also online on our website www.southlibertiesgaaclub.ie
Membership 2025:
Our membership is now due for 2025. Please check recent emails sent to all members. You can also click into the links on our social media pages. Please note that you will not be able to play any competitive games if you are not registered and you will not be covered for insurance at training.
Club Limerick Draw:
Entry to the 2025 Club Limerick Draw is now open. Details of the first draw will be communicated soon on our social feeds. Top prize each month is €10k, with numerous cash prizes and extra special prizes each month. Remember that half your proceeds go back to South Liberties, which contributes to the running of our club.
Upcoming New York Trip:
South Liberties are super excited to be travelling to New York on February 27th next for a 4-night stay. Over 90 members will depart Dublin Airport with an exciting game to be witnessed on Friday 28th, when our Adult Hurlers take on New York GAA in a challenge game. The last time South Liberties travelled to New York was 1981, so 44 years later we will grace the pitch of Gaelic Park again.
