South Liberties GAA Club Notes:

Football Feile:
Our Football Feile lads played in their divisional County semi-final last Sunday morning in Ballyagran V Athea. They won this game 3-04 to 3-02. Scorers: Gearóid Hickey 2-01, Daver Fitzpatrick 1-0, James Butler, Cuan Kilroy and Daniel Lane 0-01 each. The boys had no proper break before they went straight into the Final with very tired legs. We also were down 2 key players due to injury and unfortunately, we never got into our stride. It finished Bruff 1-12 to South Liberties 1-02. Scorers Danny Fitzpatrick 1-01 and Gearoid Hickey 0-01. A super achievement to reach the Final so well done to all these lads and management. Best wishes now to Bruff at National Feile.

Junior Hurling:
Our Junior men opened their 2024 league campaign V Na Piarsaigh last Sunday and came out winners on a scoreline of 1-17 to 0-10.
