Ireland Lights Up 2023:
South Liberties has recently signed up for “Every Step Counts Challenge 2023”, where the GAA Healthy Clubs, Irish Life and Operation Transformation are encouraging people to get out walking.
People who wish to participate should download the “MyLife” app on their phone and over the next 5 weeks this app will record your steps and if we can hit the target of 4000km, we could be in with a chance of winning O Neill’s vouchers. Our walking track in Dooley Park will be open every Tuesday and Thursday evening so please come along and bring your friends.
Birthday Greetings:
Congratulations to our New Chairperson John Godfrey who recently turned 60. John took over from Mike Fitzpatrick after our AGM and we wish John the very very best of luck in his new role. Mike will remain on our Club Committee to help us develop our grounds and especially the future Ball Wall. Mike has done tremendous work over the past number of years and we are truly grateful for his dedication and commitment in the background.
