GAA 100 YEAR COMMEMORATION
Limerick GAA hosted an online commemoration of Limerick’s 1921 All Ireland Championship Win and the curfew murders of Mayors Clancy & O’Callaghan on Sunday night last on Limerick GAA TV. Some great insights into events of that time by our own Tom Toomey, local Historian. It was a compelling listen and anyone that missed it can view on you tube on the following link
Following on from this programme was the launch of a Commemorative Replica Jersey worn by the Limerick Men in 1921, which can be purchased from O Neill’s.
CONGRATULAIONS
South Liberties wish to extend congratulations to fellow Limerick Men, Paul Foley from Patrickswell and Denis Holmes from Oola who have been appointed by Uachtaran CLG Larry Mc Carthy to two Croke Park Committees. Limerick Delegate to Central Appeals Committee  and delegate to Central Hearings Committee, respectively.
