CLUB LEAGUE 4th ROUND GAMES OF 2021
Our Senior Men took on Doon last Sunday evening in UL and had a super win on a score line of 2-13 to 0-17.
We would like to acknowledge Cronan Garry Junior for kindly sponsoring the food after our Minor A Football Final that took place on Friday June 25th last in Bruff GAA and also Dave Fitzpatrick for the food after our Senior Hurling game V Ahane two weeks ago.
LIMERICKGAA
Hard Luck to the Limerick Minor Hurlers in their 2020 All Ireland Semi Final, which took place in Cusack Park Ennis Last Friday evening. They trailed by 7 points at half time but came out blaring in the second half and by the water break in this half were only 1 point down and looking good. But Galway drove hard in the last 10 minutes and the sliothar hit the back of the Limerick net three times, almost unanswered, to wrench a brave performance from Limerick. The Final score ended Galway 4-18 Limerick 0-15.
Also, the Limerick Camogie girls lost out in the Munster Final to Cork, but the Limerick Hurlers had a brilliant win against The Rebels on Saturday evening last putting them into the Munster Final v Tipperary in two weeks time on July 18th. It was so great to hear and see spectators back in Semple Stadium.
