SOUTH LIBERTIES CLUB NOTES

Underage:
Hard luck to our U17 amalgamation of South Liberties and Crecora- Manister who lost out to a very strong Bellville Gaels last Saturday in their Co. Semi Final.
Up next is our U15 Boys in their County Final which we are awaiting a fixture on.
PwC All Stars Nominees 2021.
Congratulations to the 15 Limerick Men who have been nominated this year to receive a Hurling All Star. For the second year running, our own Barry Nash has again been included and we are immensely proud of this. The All stars are celebrating 50 years since its inception this year, where South Liberties Man Pat Hartigan was one of its first recipients. Barry started every single game Limerick played this year and was tremendous in all of them. He was also outstanding in our 3 Championship games. Best wishes to all the Limerick contingent for the All Stars night which will be held on December 10th.
We now wish Barry and his Senior club mates the best of luck for next weekend when they take on Adare in their playoff for 2022 for the A/B seeded division at senior ranks.
New York Trip of 1981.
This week 40 years ago, South Liberties flew out to New York and played games in Gaelic Park. We have some photos up on our Facebook page and if anyone has any more, please contact the PRO by email or our social medias sites for a small project we are working on.
