SOUTH LIBERTIES
Hurling League
Our U13 Hurling boys played a friendly V Kildimo on Sunday 27th and made a great come back to win the game well ahead of their 1st league match. Unfortunately, on Thursday last they fell short to Garryspillane but great to see this group have so many players and all getting game time.
Our U15 hurlers opened their league with a win against Claughaun on Monday March 28th, with a win of 2-12 to 2-04. Their next game is Monday April 11th at home to Knockainey.
Our Seniors lost their opening League game V Murroe Boher on Sunday April 2nd, losing two lads to injury early in the game. Final Score M/B 2-18 to S/L 2-12
Congratulations – Mackey Cup Final Win for East Limerick
Congratulations to young David Fitzpatrick who represented Knockea NS and East Limerick in the 2022 Mackey Cup final last Thursday in Bruff GAA, beating the West on a score line of 1-12 to 0-06. David started corner back but was moved to Centre back in the second half. It was great to see Cuman na mBunscol back in action again for 2022.

Club Facilities
Our sponsored benches are now installed, and their plaques have been put on and looking really well. Great initiative by Maurice Barrett. We have many more plans in the pipeline so if anyone can volunteer and help with the upkeep of our grounds, please inform any member of the club.
Underage County Football Panels.
The underage County Football panels were released last Saturday, and we congratulate Charlie Lane, who is part of the U16 Panel along with Conor Ryan and Sean Holland part of the U15 Panel. Well done lads and best of luck with Limerick.
