BANOGUE TAKE 2020 JUNIOR ‘B’ FOOTBALL TITLE : Congratulations to Banogue on winning the 2020 South Junior ‘B’ Football Championship when they defeated neighbours and old rivals Camogue Rovers in a well contested final in Banogue on Friday evening on a score-line of 0.15 to 2.06

WELL DONE LIMERICK FOOTBALLERS : Well Done to Limerick Senior Football team and Management following their well deserved victory over Waterford in the Munster Championship Quarter Final game in LIT Gaelic Grounds on Saturday last special mention to the panel members from the South Division, Robert and Tommie Childs (Galtee Gaels), Michael O’Donovan (Galbally), all who figured in the win while Cormac Roche and Eoin Cregan (Croom) were on the panel. Limerick will now meet Cork in the Semi Final on Saturday week 10th. July

IMPORTANT INTER COUNTY HURLING GAMES THIS WEEEND FOR LIMERICK : There are two very important Hurling games down for decision for Limerick, in Minor and Senior grade. On Friday evening, Cusack Park Ennis is the venue for the meeting of Limerick and Galway in the 2020 Electric Ireland Minor All Ireland Hurling Semi Final at 7.30pm .Limerick took the Munster title when they defeated Tipperary in the final at LIT Gaelic Grounds on Sunday 20th. December. The game on Friday evening will be shown on TG4
On Saturday Limerick Senior Hurlers will open their defence of the Munster Championship title which they have won for the past two years, when they play Cork in Semple Stadium in Thurles at 7pm. These two teams bring out the best in each other, the winners will progress to the Provincial final in two weeks later while the losers will go the back door route
