SOUTH GAA NOTES

All rounds of the U21 South Championship have been played. Group 1, Ballylanders, Bruff/Banogue & Hospital Herbertstown played the first round on 8th November with Ballylanders and Hospital Herbertstown finishing level on 0-10 to 2-4. The 2nd round was played on the 15th when Bruff defeated Ballylanders 2-7 to 0-9. The final round was played in UL last Friday evening when Bruff/Banogue defeated Hospital Herbertstown 5-12 to 1-5.

In Group 2 Galbally had entered the South Championship but the County CCC insisted they play in the County Premier Championship. This meant only 2 teams remained in Group 2 and they played last Sunday in UL and Galtee Gaels defeated Kilacolla Gaels 1-22 to 0-8.

Bruff/Banogue now play Galtee Gaels in the A Final and Ballylanders play the winners of the B Semi Final Hospital Herbertstown V Kilacolla Gaels in the B Final.
