South Junior B Hurling League Final:
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Staker Wallace who won South Junior ‘B’ Hurling league on Friday evening last in Hospital defeating Knockainey by 3.13 to 2.12 in a very well contested and sporting game.
Thank You Referee Johnny Murphy and Officials also to Hospital/Herbertstown GAA for the use of the field. Hugh Murphy Secretary South GAA presented the Cup to the Captain of the Staker Wallace team Adam Lyons.
Comhghairdeas LIMERICK Congratulations and Well Done to Limeick Hurlers and Management: What a great occasion on Sunday last June 9th.,to be one of the 45,148 crowd that included many locals to witness Limerick Senior Hurlers win their sixth in a row Munster Senior Hurling Championship Titles when at FBD Semple Stadium they scored a well deserved victory when they defeated neighbours Clare by 1.26 to 1.20 to retain The Mick Mackey Cup and reach the All Ireland Semi Final on Sunday July 7th. and the Limerick Senior Footballers on securing a well deserved win over Tipperary in the Tailteann Cup Preliminary Quarter Final game played in Mick Neville Park on Saturday last June 8th by 1.18 to 1.10. Limerick now play Sligo on this Saturday June 15th in Sligo at 5pm in the Quarter Final, Best of Luck to all involved.
