Our rince foirne team were the first to step on the stage in the INEC and kicked off proceedings in what was being described by all as very high standard competition. Crecora Manister can be so proud as those ladies gave their best performance of the year to date onstage in the INEC.

The competition was of an amazing standard but the general feel in the audience was that Limerick were there or there abouts both in the Rince Foirne and Aithriseoireacht.

However it was not to be for our dancing queens, and the winners from Birr, Co Offaly were deserving and we congratulate them.
Crecora Manister, lead by our very own Muirne Bennis were fantastic representatives of their family , club, county and province .Not only on Saturday but through all the rounds. An extremely talented group we certainly hope to see at this level again.
All Irelands are difficult to get to not to mind win – and we at Scor Luimní have no doubt that your time will come again.
Luimneach Abú and roll on Scór 2024!

And then, within minutes, results for the 3rd completion of the night…Recitation. Winner…..Mumhan……Limerick!! Our first All Ireland win since 2018. And like our hurlers hero’s can we keep this going!?!?!
A huge congratulations to Rita O Grady and all in Monegea GAA who came to fly the flag. Rita is star quality without a doubt. You could hear a pin drop to a full INEC audience. Her diction, emotion and presence were compelling. A clear and very worthy winner.

So that’s a wrap for 2023! We look forward to what 2024 will bring.
