Deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Michael McNamara, who recently passed away.
Michael will be fondly missed by his family and close friends within the community, we are thinking of you all during this difficult time. May Michael Rest in Peace.
71st Annual Christmas Draw
You will most likely have received your allocation of tickets over the last week or so, for the upcoming 71st Annual Christmas Draw. Club Limerick Draw Winners
Congratulations to a number of our local winners being presented with their cheques recently for the Club Limerick Draw. In a time of economic crisis it is fantastic to see some smiling faces amongst the Club!
Derry White standing in for Donal White, who was the winner of €500 in the August Draw. In the same draw, Mike Lawlor won €250 and was presented with his cheque by Tom White. Eddie Vereker was the winner of €100, while Catriona White was presented with a cheque for €250 by Mary Liston in the July Draw.
Hopefully we will have photos of Ciss Breen and Rose English, respective winners of €500 and €250 in the October Draw very soon. Congratulations to all our winners.
Best of luck too all our members for the November Club Limerick Draw, which will take place on Saturday, November 26th. Fantastic prizes on offer as always, with the Exclusive Star prize being a €500 Voucher for Smyth’s Toys.

Congratulations to local girl Kate Geary, who enjoyed a fantastic year with Monagea, winning the Senior County Final once again by beating St Ailbe’s. Kate and the team went on to enjoy a fine run in the Munster campaign, only to be beaten by Mullinahone in the Munster Final last Sunday. All in all, a fantastic season for Kate, well done.
