Rathkeale GAA Club Notes:
U20 Premier Football Semi Finals:
So near, and yet so far, commiserations to the U20 Footballers of Cappagh Rathkeale, who were beaten by the narrowest of margins in the semi-final last Saturday in UL. Trailing by a point at halftime to Oola on a scoreline of 2-02 to 0-07, they ended up losing by a point at full time, with the scoreboard reading 1-10 to 2-08. Hard luck to everyone involved and we would like to thank you for all your commitment and dedication throughout the season.
Rathkeale Footballers Presented with Medals:
As the season and the year is coming to an end, we would like to congratulate Barry Coleman, Adam Shanagher and Andrew Meade, who were presented with their winning Allianz Division 4 League and Tailteann Cup runners up medals last Sunday night, at the Woodlands House Hotel. Well done to the lads, it was certainly one of the key highlights of the 2025 season, and roll on 2026.
