Rathkeale GAA Club Notes:

Club Limerick Draw – Cheques Presentation!:
Heartiest congratulations once again to our club members, who recently collected their cheques from the highly successful final Club Limerick Draw of the 2023 season.
The presentation took place in O’Sullivan’s Bar, Rathkeale, with Claire Liston scooping the top prize of a whopping €10,000. Vera Fitzgerald secured the second prize of €3,000, while Sean Hennessy claimed a tidy sum of €500. John Lynch went home with €200, while Agnes Geoghegan (absent on the night) also won €200. Well done to all our winners, and indeed all our winners throughout the year, in what was another very successful Club Limerick Draw campaign for the Club.
The funds raised go towards the continuous improvements to the facilities in the Bog Garden and to maintain the Club. With that, we would like to thank you for your continued support, and we hope to have you back on board for the 2024 season, which will kick off in March.
Some photos from the enjoyable night are enclosed, with our winners, families, Club Limerick Draw officials and Club coordinators, James O’Connor and Pat Sheahan.

Limerick Footballers – Andrew Meade and Barry Coleman:
Well done to both Barry Coleman and Andrew Meade, both of whom featured for the Limerick Senior Footballers against Antrim, in the 1st round of the Allianz Football Leage, which was played in Mick Neville Park last Sunday. Unfortunately, Limerick didn’t get the result they had hoped for, however it was a great to see Rathkeale GAA Club represented once again.

Shane Hourigan Remembered:
Ten years on we remember a friend, mentor and a great club man. Shane Hourigan is greatly missed by all involved in Rathkeale GAA, his family and friends.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
