Rathkeale GAA Club Notes:

RIP – Josie White:
Deepest sympathies to Mike and all the White family on the passing of Josie, who sadly passed away last week. Josie was a fantastic lady, she will be fondly remembered, while the community and parish of Rathkeale are thinking of the families during this difficult time. May Josie Rest in Peace.

Intermediate Footballers prepare for Quarter Final Clash:
Well done to our Intermediate Footballers, who overcame Pallasgreen on a scoreline of 2-18 to 0-06, in their recent Round 5 match, to secure their place in the Intermediate Quarter Final. Rathkeale will now play Galbally in this knock out decider, hoping to progress to the Semi-Final. The game will be played under lights, this Friday evening, October 6th, in the University of Limerick (North Campus), with a throw in time of 8pm. The very best of luck to the players and management, we are wishing you well.
Please note that this is an all-ticket affair, and tickets can be booked through the following link.

Junior A Hurlers:
After a difficult campaign, our hurlers finished the Junior A Championship on a high note, winning the Round 5 fixture comfortably against Blackrock, on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-06. This was a result in the making for a number of weeks as performances were decent, however we weren’t rewarded with points on the table. This result was enough to ensure that Rathkeale will play Junior A hurling again in the 2024 season, well done to all involved and with your hard-fought efforts.
