Rathkeale GAA Club Notes:

Junior A Hurlers:
Our Junior A Hurlers had their second league match of the season, when they faced Monagea last Saturday evening in the West Intermediate Hurling League. Following a good win over Templeglantine, this was another competitive performance by Rathkeale in the Bog Garden, however we lost out on the night on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-11.
The games continue to come thick and fast, as we take on Feenagh Kilmeedy, tonight, Tuesday, April 11th at 6.30pm in the Bog Garden. Best of luck to all the players and management.

Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Stake:
Unfortunately, Romeo Hanzo, broke some hearts as he eventually bowed out of the Con and Annie Kirby Stakes at Limerick Greyhound Stadium last Saturday evening. Rathkeale GAA Club got some great performances and enjoyment out of Romeo Hanzo and we would like to give a big shout out to everyone connected with the dog and Limerick Greyhound Stadium. Well done to all and we’ll look forward to the Con and Annie Kirby Stakes again next year. Best of luck to the remaining dogs in the Semi Finals and Final.
