Club Limerick Draw 2023:
With only weeks to go before the kick off of Club Limerick Draw 2023, we are encouraging you to sign up again for the season ahead! Rathkeale GAA Club have enjoyed fantastic success in recent years, with over 80 winners from the Club over the previous 7 years.

There is also an opportunity for Adult Players and Adult Non-Players to pay for their Club Limerick Draw Membership and Club Membership at a rate of €130 online, bringing a saving of €20 for Adult Players. Congratulations to The Chasers!:
Will done to Eoin Duggan, Pat Sheahan, Dean Maune and Jimmy Dillane who finished second, beaten on a tie break, in Whelan’s Bar Sports Quiz during the week. The lads were presented with €900 by Gearoid Whelan, which they have kindly donated to the Club. Well done to all, a great achievement.

Scór na nÓg: Talent Competition:
The County Finals of the Scór na nŐg talent competitions will take place on the 25th March 2023 at Pallasgreen Hall. All budding entertainers who were under 17 on 1st Jan 2023 are eligible to compete in Scór na nÓg provided you are a member of your local GAA / Bord na nOg. You need a membership number.
Applicants need to apply through the local Irish Officer as soon as possible and no later than 9th March. The main difference between Scór na nÓg and other talent competitions in that the emphasis is on Irish Culture and themes relating to Ireland, Irish people or the Irish Language.
The following 8 Competitions will take place at Pallasgreen on Saturday 25th March:
1. Table Quiz at 2.30pm (followed by the other events which begin at 4pm)
2. Figure Dancing
3. Solo Singing
4. Recitation
5. Instrumental Music
6. Drama /Novelty Act
7. Ballad Group
8. Set Dancing
The winners of each event will take part in a Munster Semi-Final on 2nd April. Please contact the Rathkeale GAA Irish Cultural Officer immediately if you are interested in entering any of the competitions. The closing date for entering these events is 9th March. Gaeltacht Scholarships:
One scholarship is available per club to a secondary school pupil, aged under 17 on 1st Jan 2023, who has a club membership number and who has already booked a Gaeltacht course in Chorca Dhuibhne this summer. The successful applicants need to be active club members who participate in Scór na nÓg. Please contact Shivaun O’Connor by email to obtain an application form: oconnor.shivaun@gmail.com. Application forms will need to be completed and returned to Irish Officer by Tues 28th March.

Club Membership Now Due:
Club membership for the 2023 season is now due. Rates for the upcoming season are as follows:
Adult Player – €50
Under-18 Player – €20
Adult Non-Player – €30
Family (2 Adults – 1-6 Children) – €70.
There is also an opportunity for Adult Players and Adult Non-Players to pay for their Club Limerick Draw Membership and Club Membership at a rate of €130 online, bringing a saving of €20 for Adult Players.

If you haven’t registered online previously, you simply just need to create a profile and select Rathkeale GAA as your club. All players must pay their membership prior to taking part in any games or training.
