Intermediate Football
Our footballers enjoyed their first victory of the season with a good win over Adare last Saturday in the Bog Garden, playing in the West Senior League. Leading at the half time interval on a scoreline of 1-07 to 0-02, Adare improved in the second half, however Rathkeale still ran out worthy winners, finishing 1-12 to 0-10. Well done to the players and management.
U7 Training Commences
Rathkeale GAA Club are delighted to kick off the 2022 GAA season for our Under 7’s in both football and hurling, from this Saturday morning.
If your little girl or boy are within the parish of Rathkeale and were born after January 1st 2015, we would be delighted to have them train with us. Kick Off – Saturday 2nd April at 10:00am in The Bog Garden.

Kirby 2022 – FERNANDES finishes in second place!
The Club are safely through to the next round after our assigned dog; FERNANDES finished in second place last Saturday night. We now qualify for the next round which will take place next Saturday night. Hopefully we will enjoy another good round. Best of luck to FERNANDES from Rathkeale GAA Club!
Club Limerick Draw 2022
Well done and congratulations to Gerry Mulcaire who picked up €100 in the March Club Limerick Draw. Hopefully it is our first of many winners over the next 10 months or so. The next draw will take place on April 30th. Club Membership Now Due
Club membership for the 2022 season is now due. Rates for the upcoming season are as follows:
Adult Player – €50
Under-18 Player – €20
Adult Non-Player – €30
Family (2 Adults – 1-6 Children) – €70
Registration can be processed easily on the Foireann website, the link can be found on our Facebook page. If you haven’t registered online previously, you simply just need to create a profile and select Rathkeale GAA as your club. All players must pay their membership prior to taking part in any games or training. This will be strictly enforced this year so ensure sure you register today, should you have any queries please contact Eoin O’Donnell our Club Registrar.
Also please note that there are various criteria to meet when it comes to allocating ticket(s) for the higher profile intercountry games for 2022. There are four different criteria and it is important that those applying for tickets finish as high up the rankings as possible. Criteria is as follows:
1) Paid Club Member for 2022
2) Paid Club Limerick Draw Member for 2022
3) Player, Management Team Member, Committee Member or Active Club Volunteer
4) Purchaser of Fundraiser Tickets
