RATHKEALE GAA CLUB NOTES
Kellogg’s Cul Camps – Final Reminder
Rathkeale GAA Club will hold the annual Kellogg’s Cul Camp from July 12th to July 16th in the Bog Garden. All bookings need to be processed online as there are no ‘walk-in’s’ permitted due to COVID reasons. Booking can be made through the following link: https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/. This is a very enjoyable week for our kids so ensure they are signed up today.
Intermediate Footballers Continue Good Form
Well done to our Intermediate Footballers who enjoyed a good win over Drom/Broadford last Tuesday evening, on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-06 in the West Senior league. Our next outing is on Tuesday, July 6th at home to Adare. Best of luck to all involved.
U15 Hurling Result
Hard luck to our lads, who were unfortunately defeated by Mungret St Paul’s on Monday evening. This was a great performance, however the opposition proved too strong on the night, well done to everyone involved.
U13 Footballers
Following a battling display, our U13s were unlucky to come out on the wrong side of their recent outing against Ahane. The lads are constantly improving and learning, which is a testament to their parents and mentors. I’m sure we’ll be on the other side of the result the next day out.
Championship Draws Complete
The Championship Draws were recently completed for our Junior A Hurlers and Intermediate Footballers respectively. Our Hurlers have been drawn against Claughaun, Ballybrown, Killeedy, Staker Wallace and Castletown Ballygran.
In a smaller affair, our footballers have been drawn against Mungret St. Pauls and St Patricks, again very competitive matches to look forward to. Best of luck to both teams in the Championship ahead.
