RATHKEALE GAA CLUB NOTES
Intermediate Football championship
Our footballers are in action against Mountcollins in their opening round championship game this Thursday evening (20th Aug) in Newcastlewest at 6.45pm. Tickets are currently on sale for this game at Tom Whites shop/Filling station. There’s a limited supply due to Covid-19 restrictions so get in early if you are interested in going.
Best of luck to team and management. The lads are out again on Sunday 30th Aug against Claughaun in Adare at 6pm.
After 3 defeats from the opening 3 rounds against Templeglantine, Feenagh & Ballybricken/Bohermore, its fair to say we are under pressure in this championship. The lads are training in decent numbers and the upcoming games against Monaleen & Kileedy are on the horizon. See details below of upcoming games.
Our minor hurlers (Croagh-Kilfinny/Rathkeale) had a great win over Drom Broadford in the opening round last week. They are away to Granagh/Ballingarry this Friday evening.
Our opening game in the Minor Football championship is against Ballybricken/Bohermore on Fri 28th Aug in the Bog Garden.
