RATHKEALE GAA CLUB NOTES

Brian Coleman (Senior) RIP

Sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Brian Coleman, who sadly passed away last Wednesday (September 11th).

Brian was a great community man who loved supporting both Rathkeale & Limerick over the last number of decades. A pure gentleman in every sense of the word. Brian would give you a warm welcome when running Foleys Public House, with his loving wife Teresa.

Within Foley’s, many a card game, table quiz or sing song would break out under Brian’s tenure over the years. Of course Brian was a great man for a song himself, and we will always remember him in full voice while travelling to Croke Park in 2013 for the All Ireland Semi Final. No doubt he took great pride in Limerick’s 2018 All Ireland success.

Brian will be sadly missed by his wife Tersesa, his family Charlene, Treasa, Jack and Brian (Beag), his mother Mary, brothers Patrick, John, Michael & Noel and his sister Kay as well as everyone within Rathkeale GAA Club and the community. May he rest in peace.
