PATRICKSWELL GAA CLUB NOTES
JUVENILE CLUB OPEN DAY: We look forward to our annual Juvenile Club Open Day this Sunday March 8 from 12.00pm to 1.30pm. It will be a fun-filled occasion and our Senior stars will be there with the Daly Cup.
We welcome all new children to the club, including those born in 2014 and 2015 who will form our Under 6 group for this year. Our Under 6s and Under 8s will meet every Friday evening at 6pm. Parents can enjoy a tea or coffee and watch the kids have fun playing games, learning basic skills and developing their Fundamental Movement Skills that will aid their athletic development. It’s a fun time for all, so please join up with us. See you on March 8!!
UNDER 21 HURLERS: The U-21 hurlers face Kilmallock in the Premier Hurling Championship on Monday March 2 at 8pm in Rathkeale.
RICHIE BENNIS BOOK LAUNCH: Richie Bennis launches his book ‘A Game that Smiles’ in the Woodlands Hotel in Adare on Wednesday March 4 at 7pm.
CLUB LOTTO: Lotto results for the week ending Monday February 24 were as follows. The numbers drawn were 3, 9, 12 and 15. The Bonus was 2. Congratulations to Tommy Reidy, who scooped the €4,200 jackpot. The next draw on Monday March 2 will be held in Colllin’s Bar.
CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The Club Limerick Draw is back for 2020. There are thirty prizes each month, with a first prize jackpot of €10,000 and a variable star prize for fifth place every month. The annual subscription is €100, or €10 per month as required. Remember that 50% minimum is retained by the club. Please contact your local promoter or register online at limerickgaa.ie.
MEMBERSHIP: Club membership is now open for 2020. The fees are €60 for adults, €40 for a child or full-time students and €120 for a family (2 adults + multiple children). Remember that you must be registered as a member to play.
