Patrickswell GAA Club Notes:

Greyhound Racing Night:
Patrickswell GAA and Camogie Clubs are hosting a “Night at the Dogs” to help raise funds for the development of playing facilities at Páirc Antóin O’Briain. The development will include the repositioning and levelling of the existing pitch, the addition of a training area and the provision of a 2 metre wide walking track around the perimeter of the pitch.
The fundraising event will be held on Saturday March 23 at the Limerick Greyhound Stadium and coincides with the first round of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial, which is one of the major nights in the greyhound calendar in Limerick.
Admission tickets cost €10 and are currently available online, while physical tickets will be available from McDermotts and Applegreen petrol stations this weekend (March 15th to 17th). The tickets are also available in a number of local businesses.
Prizes include a personal training session with Hurler of the Year Aaron Gillane, a €250 voucher for the Woodlands House Hotel & Spa and a €100 Crescent Shopping Centre Voucher.
We would also like to offer the opportunity to promote businesses through a series of electronic adverts that will be played on screens throughout the venue on the night. These adverts will also be promoted on the club’s social media sites. The cost of the adverts is Full screen €100 and Half screen €50. Please contact any of the club’s committee for details.

Club Lotto:
The Club Lotto draw on Monday March 4 was not won. The numbers drawn were 11, 19, 26 and 29. The bonus number was 20. The €100 Lucky Dip was won by Eileen Casey and the €20 prizes were claimed by JJ McNamara, Declan Gillane, Lorraine O’Neill, Michael Cusack and Marie Franey. This week’s jackpot is €8,600.

Club Membership:
Patrickswell Club Membership for 2024 is now open via the ClubZap app. Anyone who paid their membership on ClubZap in 2023 would have received a 2024 Renewal Notice by e-mail.
There are two approaches to paying Club Membership. For Renewal membership, either click the link in the email issued to your email account or else log into your ClubZap app. For first time membership, ensure the ClubZap app is downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then create a user account and select “Patrickswell” to subscribe to.
In the “Clubhouse” tile, pick “Membership”. For renewals, pick “Renew Your Membership” with the email address you used last year. For first time members using ClubZap, select “Become a NEW member”. In “View Details”, you can read all about the membership packages and prices. By pressing “Purchase Now”, you can input the member(s) relevant details and finally make payment.

Club Messaging:
Patrickswell GAA Club has changed the way that club messages are issued to our members and supporters. Club messages will now be sent via the ClubZap app, except in cases where a user doesn’t own a smartphone. In this instance, traditional text messages will continue to be used.
When ClubZap is installed and “Patrickswell” is added as a club, look out for the messages in the “Patrickswell Announcements” section of the Chat bubble. Push Notifications will be sent to your phone’s Notification Centre.
