Co Intermediate Football Championship:
Pallas took on Gerald Griffins in the first round of the championship last week in Ballingarry. Played in damp conditions this young Pallas team put up a spirited display against a superior West Limerick side. The half time score read Gerald Griffins 1-6 Pallas 0-1. The second period was a more lively affair but Griffins added a further 1-2 to Pallas 0-3 to seal out the victory by 2-8 to 0-4. East JB Football Championship:
The battle of the parish was the order last Sunday evening in Knockane when Pallas and Knockane crossed swords. The last encounter Pallas recorded a one point win in the league. Knockane are a well known championship team and had a score to settle. This they did in fine fashion as they outclassed Pallas on the night by 6-12 to 0-6. The scoreline at half time read Pallas 0-5 Knockane 2-3. Golf Classic:
The club will hold its third annual Golf Classic in Ballkisteen Golf Club, Monard Co Tipperary on Friday 18th August. The format will be a Champagne Scramble. With some fabulous prizes on offer including Fourballs at some of Ireland’s leading golf courses. Team of 4 €200 which includes Golf and 2 course meal in the Pallas Bar & Bistro.
