Pallasgreen GAA Club Notes:
Limerick Minor Football:
Congratulations to Padraic Phelan and the Limerick minor footballers after they won Phase one of the Munster Championship with a thrilling win 1-9 to 1-6 over Tipperary in Mallow last week. This was the county’s first silverware at this grade since 1956.
Tailteann Cup:
Well done to Brian Fanning and Aaron O’Sullivan and the Limerick senior football team who secured their first in the Tailteann cup after a 2-16 to 1-16 win over Longford in the Gaelic Grounds last Saturday evening.
Ladies Football:
The ladies football team had a fine win over Ballylanders last week in Knockane. Up by a point at half time 2-4 to 0-9, they saw out the game winning by 3-10 to 0-14.
Football League:
The junior footballers suffered a 3-10 to 0-1 defeat at the hands of Monaleen in Pallas last Sunday evening. And in the South East Intermediate Football league Camogue Rovers came out on top by 1-11 to 1-6 in Banogue.
