GOLF CLASSIC: Pallasgreen GAA Club will hold a Golf Classic on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th of August at Ballykisteen Golf Club. Fabulous prizes , including fourballs at some of Ireland’s leading golf courses including Fota Island, Tralee, The Island and many more. Format is; Champagne Scramble. EAST SENIOR HURLING LEAGUE FINAL: Pallas and Doon crossed swords in the Senior league final in sun drenched Caherconlish last week. This was a repeat of thier encounter only ten days previously where Doon emerged winners. Doon looked winners by half time in this encounter as they led by 1-13 to 0-6. But a rejuvenated Pallas side came storming into the game in the second half holding the more illustrious opponents to only three points. But the half time deficit was to prove decisive and Doon ran out winners by 1-16 to 0-13.
