Pallasgreen LGFA:
All eyes will be on Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale this Sunday at 1pm as the Pallasgreen Junior Ladies Footballers take to the field in the County Junior A Final against familiar rivals, St Senan’s. After the heartbreak of last year’s final, where they were narrowly defeated in the closing moments, the Pallasgreen ladies are determined to go one step further and bring the cup home. Their 2025 campaign has been one of consistency and growth, with the team showing great maturity, resilience, and composure in several closely contested matches. This Sunday’s opponents, St Senan’s, are well-known to Pallasgreen. The two sides have developed a healthy rivalry over recent years, producing some memorable and hard-fought encounters. Another titanic battle is expected, and it promises to be a thrilling spectacle for supporters of both clubs. We encourage all supporters to travel in numbers and get behind the girls as they aim to cap off a strong season with championship glory. Best of luck to the team and their management, your hard work and dedication have already made your community proud.
Thamk You:
Pallasgreen GAA club and wider community would like to extend their most sincere thanks to St Ailbes Credit Union for its generous support of the club’s ongoing development works through its Community Fund. Following a comprehensive application process, the club was delighted to be selected as a recipient of funding, with a presentation of a cheque for €10,000 made to representatives of the Club and Fundraising Committee at the Caherconlish Branch Office last week. This significant contribution will have a vital impact on the club’s ability to continue improving and enhancing its facilities, while also relieving some of the pressures of ongoing fundraising efforts. The support from St Ailbes Credit Union will help create a better environment for players, members and the wider community to enjoy for generations to come. Pallasgreen GAA is extremely grateful for the continued support of St Ailbe’s Credit Union and looks forward to continue its development journey with the help of such valued community partners.
