East Senior Hurling League:
The intermediate hurlers took on Murroe-Boher in sunny Pallasgreen in the East Senior Hurling last Saturday afternoon. In a games played in splendid sunshine Murroe-Boher came out on top by 3-15 to 1-9. Intermediate Football League:
Pallas footballers took on Mungret in the league last week in Pallas and it turned out to be an entertaining game of football. Pallas raced into a 2-6 to 0-1 lead after 15 minutes but the visitors pegged them back and there was only the minimum separating the sides at the break 2-7 to 3-3 in favour of Pallas. The second period Mungret had dominated for long periods, but the home side were resilient and the game finished all square 4-11 to 3-14. Pallasgreen LGFC:
The senior ladies footballers played Adare in Pallas last Sunday morning in Round 1 of the division 3 league. On a magnificent bright sunny morning Pallas led at the break 2-12 to 2-1. On the resumption Adare came more into the game, but the girls had control of the contest and added another 2-5 to win on a scoreline of 4-17 to 4-4. Primary Go Games:
Congrats and well done to Molly Deere who represented Limerick in the Primary Go Games in the half time games of the Limerick and Cork Munster Senior Football championship in The Gaelic Grounds last Saturday evening.
Munster LGFA:
Emily Franklin and Hannah Fealy were both members of the Limerick Minor football that played Kerry in round 4 of the championship in Cordal GAA Club last Saturday at 12 noon. Unfortunately Kerry proved too strong and won on a scoreline of 5-13 to 1-1.
Limerick U20 Football:
Congratulations to the Limerick U20 football team and especially our own members Tadgh Hourigan, Padraic Phelan and Shane Pearse who won the Munster B final last week against Waterford. The team had a fine win on a scoreline of 3-14 to 0-13 in Mallow. Well to all involved.
Con & Annie Kirby Memorial 2025:
It was a complete contrast to last week as both dogs in the quarter final as Toolmaker Josepe representing the GAA Club and Jacktaveren Boom representing the LGFC failed to qualify for the next round. But it was a great no of weeks following these dogs in action, and well done to all for your support. Best wishes to the remaining dogs and clubs in the semi finals.
