Juvenile Club AGM:
The AGM of the Juvenile GAA Club took place last Sunday evening in the meeting room GAA pitch before a sizeable and engaged attendance. The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year and set the groundwork for the upcoming season. Reports from the club’s main officers highlighted the successes of the past year, including participation levels, team performances, and community engagement. Gratitude was expressed to the outgoing committee members, coaches, and volunteers for their dedication and support. Detailed discussions took place regarding the upcoming season, focusing on team affiliations and management structures. All proposed affiliations and management appointments were reviewed and unanimously agreed upon by attendees. The following officers were elected. Chairperson: Pat Blackwell, Treasurer: Seamus Kirby, Secretary: Sinead O’ Dwyer. The club extended its thanks to Aidan Foley for his exemplary service as Secretary and welcomed Sinead O’ Dwyer to the role with confidence in her ability to contribute to the club’s continued success. In the AOB section of the meeting, the following decisions were made; The club will hold its Awards Night in the coming weeks. On the same evening, the club will officially launch the Centre Parcs Draw for 2025, with further details to be shared closer to the event.
 
Membership:
Following on from the AGM, club membership rates for the 2025 season is as follows; Players €60, Non player €40, U18 €50 and OAP €20. Membership to be paid on or before March 31st 2025. Also at the first committee meeting of 2025, Aidan Foley was ratified as the new Club Registrar.
