Pallasgreen GAA Grounds were alive with festive cheer last Sunday as Santa Claus himself made a special appearance at the Christmas Family Fun Day, held in partnership with Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha. The event drew a wonderful crowd of excited families, braving the brisk December weather to partake in an unforgettable day of joy and celebration. The children’s eyes lit up with wonder as they met Santa in the magnificent grotto specially created by Audrey’s Wedding Occasions sharing their Christmas wishes and taking photos that will surely become cherished memories. Meanwhile, the adults relished the warm camaraderie over a cup of tea, complemented by delicious treats, compliments of Lee’s Centra and the enchanting strains of traditional music performed by talented local musicians. Adding to the magic of the day, Santa took centre stage to perform the switching on of the Christmas lights, casting a warm glow across the grounds and officially marking the start of the festive season in Pallasgreen. A heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved in planning and organizing this fantastic event. From meticulous preparations to the seamless execution, your efforts created a space for families to come together and embrace the holiday spirit.
