Pallasgreen GAA Club Notes:

Junior A Ladies Football County Semi Final:
In what can only be described as an epic contest, this game had everything from start to finish. Tension gripped the field as both teams battled fiercely, each vying to claim that decisive score and secure their place in the county final. In the end, it was left to Aine Looby, with the clock ticking down, to deliver the winning point and send Pallas to the final in dramatic fashion.
The first half was a thrilling affair, as Pallas stormed to an early 10-point lead after just 15 minutes. It seemed like they were in complete control, but St. Senans, refusing to go down without a fight, mounted an incredible comeback to overturn the deficit and lead by two points at the break 3-5 to 3-3. Pallas goals coming from the booth of, Caoimhe Butler, Grace Layden and Sinead McGuinness. The momentum had shifted, and the game was on a knife-edge. The second half, however, was a defensive masterclass, with scores hard to come by. Tension reached its peak as both sides defended valiantly, and the backs were heroic in their efforts. St. Senans managed just a single point in the entire second half, while Pallas ground out a hard-fought 1-1, (Kaelin Ryan with sublime goal) showcasing the grit and determination of both teams. It was a battle of wills as much as skill, and in the end, it was Pallas who found that extra edge to prevail. This game will be remembered for its drama, intensity, and the incredible resilience shown by both teams.
