Pallasgreen GAA Club Notes:

Hard luck to the U14 footballers and their teammates from Kilteely/Dromkeen who fought valiantly against a strong Mungret side last Saturday in Rathkeale. Despite Mungrets dominance, the boys displayed incredible heart, determination and character during the game. They stood tall in a fiercely competitive division and gave their all throughout the campaign. Though the result didn’t go their way, and coming within a couple of scores of reaching the final speaks volumes of the team’s spirit and progress. We commend their resolve and commitment which will strengthen their competitiveness going forward. Well done also to their coaches, mentors and parents. Scoreline Pallasgreen 1-4 Mungret 3-9.

The Intermediate footballers ended their campaign on a defeat as they came up against a good Rathkeale side in Kilbreedy. The soreline at half time read Pallas 0-2 Rathkeale 2-4. The second half was an improvement and held the westerners to one point, but the damage was done in the first half which led to a 2-10 to 0-5 defeat.
