Pallasgreen GAA Club Notes:

Golf Classic:
The 4th Annual Classic at Ballykisteen Golf Club was a resounding success, blessed with warm sunshine that greeted the 40 participating teams, but not as summer like for the evening before for the 10 teams that took part. The course was in impeccable condition, showcasing the beauty of the parkland layout and the welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic day of golf. Upon arrival each team was warmly welcomed by the organisers who handed out scorecards and thoughtfully prepared goodie bags, ensuring everyone was well equipped to enjoy their round. The club extends its heartfelt gratitude to our main sponsors, Lee’s Centra, Cllr Noreen Stokes, St Ailbe’s Credit Union Ltd, Stonebridge Motor Factors, Helen McCormack Auctioneer, to our Team Sponsors and Tee box sponsors and all who generously supported the event, your contributions were vital to the success of the day. Special thanks are due to the organisers especially Gillian Deere, Margo Greene, Michael O’Keeffe and Jonathon Deere just to mention a few whose hard work and commitment made this event a highlight for everyone involved. Intermediate Hurling Championship:
A gallant display by the intermediate hurlers saw them come up just short with their second round battle with Bruree in Knocklong last week. Pallas led at the break by 2-6 to 0-7 with the help of the elements. The second half Bruree using the elements clawed their way into the game to take advantage of the contest, Pallas to their credit never gave and two goals in the last ten minutes had the game on a knife edge. A few frees near the final whistle for the opposition saw them over the line by 2-17 to 4-8.
