Intermediate Hurling Championship:
The intermediate hurlers got their championship campaign off to the best possible start with a win over St Kieran’s in Adare last Saturday. Pallas led at the break by 1-8 to 0-11 the goal coming from Colin Ryan. The second we started the brighter and led with ten minutes to go but St Kieran’s scored four points in succession to make it a nervy finish, but the final whistle came in time for a one point victory 1-15 to 0-17. Team; Trevor McMahon, O Roche, Tony McMahon, K O’Donnell, D Hayes, T Franklin, P Roche (0-1), C O’Dwyer, N McNamara, D Murphy (0-2), P Franklin, P Phelan, C Ryan (1-2), C McMahon (0-8), T Hourigan (0-2).
