Pallasgreen GAA Golf Classic:
The club will hold its 3rd annual Golf Classic in Ballykisteen Golf Club on Friday August 9th. The purpose of the classic is to raise funds to further develop our playing facilities to cater for the ever-increasing numbers from U6 to adult at hurling, Gaelic football, camogie and ladies football. Our previous two golf classics have helped us to put our ball wall in place and this was completed in early 2024. We would greatly appreciate your support in any format by ways of tee box sponsors, sponsorship etc. Team of 4 entry is €240.00, this includes a 2 course meal at the Pallas Bar & Bistro), Tee Box Sponsorship €50.00. Ladies Football League Final:
Hard luck to the Ladies footballers who were defeated by Ahane in the County league final in Monaleen last Saturday night. Infairness to Ahane they took their opportunities well as where for, Pallas it wasn’t their night and couldn’t capitalise infront of goals. With a mountain to climb after halftime as Ahane led by 4-7 to 0-4 the girls showed great character and never threw in the towel to outscore their opponents by 1-7 to 1-2. Final scoreline Ahane 5-9 Pallasgreen 1-11. Minor Football:
Well done to the Minor Football team who had a fine win over St Senans in Pallasgreen last Saturday evening. In a high scoring encounter the team won by 4-10 to 4-7.
