U14 Ladies Win League Final:
Congratulations to the U14 ladies footballers who won the county league final when they defeated Dromin-Athlacca-Banogue 4-7 to 3-7 in an exciting affair in Pallasgreen last week. U14 Camogie:
Well done to the U14 Camogie team who beat Newcastle West 3-5 to 1-0 to win the Shannon Plate final last week.
Local Young Stars in Fundraiser for India Schools Project:
Malachy McKenna of Lough is fundraising as part of his schools India Immersion Programme where he and a group of 12 students will work in Kolkata in orphanages, schools and with the homeless next October. All funds raised will be donated to the organisations in India. Malachy will speak at Mass this weekend to explain this initiative.
