Table Quiz:
Pallasgreen GAA Club would like to thank everyone for their wonderful support for the Table Quiz held last Friday night in Power’s Bar. A great night’s entertainment was the order with the odd and humorous debate on some questionable answers. Thanks to all our sponsors, Powers Bar, Quiz master Pat Cronin and score checker Fergal Grace, DJ Fealy for setting the questions and all who supported and helped out on the night.

Juvenile Club Medal Presentation:
A large crowd turned out for the Juvenile club medal presentation last Sunday evening in the community centre. The club were delighted to have as special guest and Hurler of the Year Aaron Gillane to present the medals. Medals were presented to the victorious Féile hurlers, U13 county champion hurlers along with the U6, 8 and U10 teams. There was individual presentations and the following were the winners; The Christy McMahon U13 Player of the year was Noah Deere, The Michael O’Donoghue U15 player of the year went to Conor O’Dwyer and the Maurice O’Brien U16 player of the year was Malachy McKenna and the Jimmy Fanning dedicated Player of the Year went to Niall McNamara.

Camogie Presented:
Congratulations to last years U13 Champions who received their medals last Sunday morning from Limerick Camogie Captain Laura Fennelly.

LGFC Medal Presentation:
The Pallasgreen LGFC held their Medal Presentation last weekend for U14 Championship, U16 Championship and U19 League 2023 winners. The club were delighted to have Naomi Carroll, Olympian and Hockey International, Clare gaelic football and camogie star and Aaron O’Sullivan, Pallasgreen GAA and Limerick Footballer as guests of honour. A special thanks to Thomas O Connor playing the tunes to enhance an enjoyable evening and many thanks for all taking time out to recognise the achievements of 2023. Huge thanks to players, parents coaches & all who support Pallasgreen Ladies Gaelic Football.

Sympathises:
The club would like to extends its sincere sympathies to the family of the late Jimmy O’Dea of Gurtnakistin. Jimmy was a great stalwart of Pallasgreen at underage level up U21, he also played with Doon senior hurling team. Both clubs came together and formed a guard of honour at his funeral Mass.

Easr Gaels Awards:
Congratulations to Pakie Deere who will be awarded an East Limerick Gaels Award in the Millennium Centre Caherconlish this Friday night. Too often we take for granted the enormous voluntary effort of club members but for Pakie his contribution has been unselfish and crucial to the day to day running of the club. As long we have dedicated people like Pakie in the club we can be assured it’s in great hands. Congratulations on a well deserved honour.
