CITY EAST JUNIOR A HURLING LEAGUE: The Junior hurling team played Murroe/Boher in the second round of the City East Junior hurling league in Boher last week. After a competitive start the team was defeated by 1-20 to 1-9.
SOUTH SENIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE: Pallas played neighbours Oola in the South Senior Football league last week in Oola and after a fine tussle were defeated by 0-10 to 0-4. The scoreline at half time read Oola 0-4 Pallas 0-3
CHRISTY RING CUP: Brian McCarthy was on the London team that played against Kildare in the Christy Ring Cup Round 2 in Newbridge last Saturday afternoon. In a high scoring encounter Kildare won on a scoreline of 3-35 to 3-14.
CO MINOR HURLING; Hard luck to Tadgh Hourigan and the Limerick Minor team who had to settle for defeat in the Munster championship in Pairc Ui Caoimh last week by 4-21 to 2-14.
